Farmington PD Bids Adieu To Veteran Leader

The long-tenured local law enforcer served the FPD in several capacities, most recently as captain.

FARMINGTON, CT — The Farmington Police Department recently bid adieu to one of its top leaders as he officially retired from the force.

Late last month, the FPD said goodbye to Capt. Tim McKenzie, who has had several roles in the local police department.

Among them, according to the FPD, were a patrol officer, special projects officer, detective sergeant, training sergeant, and a lieutenant.

"We wish Captain McKenzie well in his new endeavor and thank him for his service to the Town of Farmington," wrote the FPD March 27.
