Lauren Ruth Murphy, 35, of Penfield Hill Road, Portland, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia and two counts of first-degree failure to appear in court at 8:49 p.m. She was to appear in court Oct. 10.

Lawanna Lanese Costlio, 45, of Capen Street, Hartford, was charged with two counts of third-degree larceny and one count of fourth-degree larceny at 11:25 a.m. She was to appear in court Oct. 10.

Oct. 11

Gavreal Y. Baranowski, 37, of Avon Road, Avon, was charged with speeding and illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs at 12:02 a.m. He will appear in court Oct. 30.

Oct. 12

Michael J. Sansone, 37, of Main Street, Farmington, was charged with violation of a protective order, disorderly conduct, and third-degree assault at 5 p.m. He was to appear in court Oct. 14.

Karia Roselee Garcia, 29, of Tremont Street, New Britain, was charged with first-degree unlawful restraint, risk of injury to a child, tampering, murder with special circumstances, conspiracy to commit murder with special circumstances, intentional cruelty of a child, and violation of the requirement regarding disposal of a dead body at 7:13 p.m. She was to appear in court Oct. 14.

Jackelyn Leeann Garcia, 28, of Tremont Street, New Britain, was charged with first-degree unlawful restraint, risk of injury to a child, and intentional cruelty of a child at 7:13 p.m. She was to appear in court Oct. 14.

Oct. 13

Abel Herrera Castillo, 35, of Putnam Heights, Hartford, was charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs at 7:28 p.m. He will appear in court Oct. 30.

Jonatan Abel Nanita, 30, of Tremont Street, New Britain, was charged with first-degree unlawful restraint, risk of injury to a child, murder with special circumstances, conspiracy to commit murder with special circumstances, and intentional cruelty of a child at 11 p.m. He was to appear in court Oct. 14.

Oct. 14

Ty Richard Longo, 26, of Wildcat Drive, Farmington, was charged with use of a motor vehicle without permission and illegal operation of a motor vehicle under suspension at 6 p.m. He will appear in court Oct. 29.

Joyce Ann Skopek, 74, of Mason Road, Brooklyn, was charged with first-degree identity theft, first-degree larceny, second-degree larceny, fraudulent use of an automated teller, using more than $500 on a revoked payment card, receipt from illegal use of a credit card, and criminal impersonation at 1:37 p.m. She will appear in court Oct. 29.

Oct. 15

Jimmy L. Denby, 29, of Wintergreen Avenue, Hamden, was charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny at 10:31 a.m. He was to appear in court Oct. 16.

Brian Scott Davis, 45, of Stonegate, Farmington, was charged with evading responsibility of injury/property damage at 7:23 a.m. He will appear in court Nov. 6.
