Farmington Town Garden Plots Available To Public

The Town of Farmington is now accepting applications to rent plots for the 2024 Kolp Community Garden area on Meadow Road.

FARMINGTON, CT — With meteorological spring starting Friday, March 1, it should be noted the Town of Farmington is accepting applications to use the town's community garden.

Currently, the town is accepting online applications for the "2024 Kolp Community Garden Program."

Located on Meadow Road, the community gardens are simply garden areas that members of the public can, essentially, rent with the town to grow all sorts of vegetables and fruits.

There are two sizes of plots available, with a 25-foot-by-25-foot plot available for $20 and a plot double that size available for $35, according to the town website.

Applications are being accepted now and plot assignments will be handed down in the middle of March.
