Farmington's Aug. 13 Primary Vote: What You Need To Know
Tuesday, Aug. 13, is Connecticut's primary day, with the entire state looking to finalize a GOP senate hopeful, among other races.

FARMINGTON, CT — Election Day is in November, but before that potentially historic day, local voters have some work to do on Aug. 13 as the ballot needs to be finalized via primaries.
Throughout Connecticut, Republicans will be deciding the GOP senatorial hopeful looking to unseat U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn.
In that primary race, Gerry Smith is taking on Matthew M. Corey for the right to oppose the incumbent.

On Tuesday, Aug. 13, local polling places in Farmington will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the GOP primary.
Early voting for the primary begins on Monday, Aug. 5, and runs through Sunday, Aug. 11, at the Farmington Town Hall Pavilion, located in the rear lot of Farmington Town Hall (1 Monteith Drive).
