Flooded Roads In Farmington Prompt Some Closures: Police
The Farmington PD is urging motorists to stay away from flood-ravaged roads Wednesday.
FARMINGTON, CT — Like many towns in central Connecticut, Farmington was walloped Wednesday morning as a heavy rainstorm whisked through the area, closing flooded roads.
Farmington police reported last Wednesday morning that local roadways are "experiencing localized flooding throughout the town."
As a result, police are urging motorists to avoid driving through flooded roadways, "even if a road seems passable."

Meanwhile, police said the town has set up barricades and signs on major roadways that are closed due to flooding.
