Halloween Candy To Flow At Westfarms Mall's 'Mall-O-Ween'

The major shopping destination in Farmington/West Hartford will host costumed trick-or-treaters on Sunday, oct. 27.

WEST HARTFORD/FARMINGTON, CT — Area children will be able to get a jump on their Halloween candy hoarding this Sunday at the Westfarms Mall in West Hartford/Farmington.

That's because the mall is hosting its annual "Mall-O-Ween" event, where the large roster of stores gives away candy to costumed children in a comfortable indoor climate.

It will take place Sunday, Oct. 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with event lines closing at 12:45 p.m. at the mall, whose address is 1500 Westfarms Mall, Farmington.

This is the fifth annual event where adults can bring children dressed in costume and walk the "Boo-levard" at Westfarms.

It is open to the public and free of charge, with families greeted by a clown, magician, princess, and "more delightful surprises along the route."

Each participant will receive a "Mall-O-Ween" bag from the event's presenting sponsor, Comcast Xfinity, to collect candy from Westfarms retailers and its partners.
