Have The Top Dog In Farmington? Register For The Honor

There is a June 2 deadline for dog owners to register their pooch in the Farmington Town Clerk's office for the 'top dog' contest.

FARMINGTON, CT — So, do you think your dog is the top dog in Farmington?

Well you have until Friday, June 2, to submit a photo to the Farmington Town Clerk's office to be the top-ranked dog in town.

Then, on June 22 at 10 a.m., there will be a drawing for who will receive the #1 dog title among licensed canines in 2023.

Dog owners should submite a 4-inch-by-6-inch photo of your beloved pooche and, on the back side, include you and your dog's name, address and telephone number.

Eligible dogs must be licensed and have proof of a rabies vaccine or can be under 6 months old.

The winner will receive Farmington’s #1 tag along with a gift for your dog and a photo shoot with the Valley Press.

June is the month to license dogs for the new year and all dog owners can stop into the town clerk's office to do that.
