I-84 Closed In Farmington In Both Directions: State Police

FARMINGTON, — I-84 is currently closed in both directions in Farmington due to a hazmat incident, state police said.

As of around 7:40 a.m., the highway's westbound and eastbound lanes are closed at Exit 40, and traffic is being diverted off of that exit, according to state police.

Police are asking drivers to seek other routes.

The highway's westbound side was initially closed at Exit 39A in Farmington, but police have since closed it in both directions at Exit 40.
