Major Farmington Architectural Firm Announces Two New Principals
The two architectural experts were recently promoted to top leadership positions in the 22-year-old firm.

FARMINGTON, CT — A prominent architectural firm in Farmington has added two new principals to its team, the company recently announced.
Quisenberry Arcari Malik (aka QA+M Architecture) announced that Jason Davis and Julia McFadden were recently promoted to join principals David Quisenberry, Tom Arcari, Rusty Malik, and Jim Bell.

Opening 22 years ago in Farmington QA+M Architecture provides architectural and interior design services to public and private clients throughout Connecticut.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome and elevate two professionals who have demonstrated the acumen and personality to attract clients for long-lasting relationships,” said founder and principal Quisenberry.
Davis joined QA+M Architecture in 2017.

The company cited Davis' 25 years of experience and said his "design savvy" assists industrial, commercial, and corporate clients improve layouts to maximize efficiencies in their workspaces.
He specializes in working directly with and for contractors, construction managers, and developers.
Notable projects include Puerto Vallarta Restaurant in Stamford; Deringer-Ney and Burteck, LLC (manufacturing) in Bloomfield; Bob’s Sports Chalet in Bristol; Collinsville Bank in Farmington; and Thomaston Savings Bank (multiple CT locations).
McFadden joined QA+M Architecture in July 2024, already a seasoned [rincipal with a reputation for perceptive and adaptable leadership of complex projects.
She was recruited by QA+M for her design sensibilities and charismatic marketing ingenuity, company officials said.
Her notable projects include The Bergami Center for Science, Technology & Innovation for the University of New Haven; The Little Theatre for ACES Educational Center for the Arts; the Lodge and Bunkhouses for Hole-in-the-Wall Gang Camp in Ashford; the rebuilding of the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown; and dozens of other K12 schools in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, and Minnesota.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have Julia join our team. She will enhance our K-12 practice and elevate our transition into an eminent design firm,” said Malik.
