These tool will allow a property owner to determine the new assessed and market value of their property, which will impact how much they'll pay in taxes next year once a new mill rate is set.

New assessments are as of Oct. 1, 2022.
Revaluations are required by law every few years and are necessary for updated tax rolls and properly taxed properties.

The fact page includes a link to frequently asked questions; a means to find a property's new assessment; and ways taxpayers can appeal their assessments if they disagree.
Because this is a revaluation year, property owners are advised not to utilize the existing mill rate to calculate their possible 2023 taxes.
That's because mill rates will, traditionally, come down to compensate for the increased values and taxpayers should wait for the new mill rates to come out before trying to calculate taxes.
