Throughout the fall season, officials said play will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

"We kindly ask all players to be considerate of others waiting for a turn by utilizing the paddle rack rotation system. This ensures fair and enjoyable play for everyone," wrote the town on Friday.

An official grand opening for the new recreational complex, including the splash pad and restrooms, is planned for late spring, at which time a court reservation system will also be available.

"We look forward to welcoming the community to this new recreational space and appreciate your patience as we work to complete the remaining amenities," wrote the town.
