See How Farmington Students Scored on Standardized Test Scores

The state has released new test standardized test scores for school districts across the state. See how Farmington did.

FARMINGTON, CT - The state released grades for each school and district last week. Many school districts saw a decrease in their 2016-2017 scores from the year before. Manchester was one of them.

Farmington's overall ranking was 84.1; the year before was 85.4.

The highest ranking in the state was achieved by the New Canaan school system - with a 89.1 ranking. The lowest ranking was New Britain at 55.7.

Of the 201 school districts ranked in the state, 146 saw a decline in their test scores - or 73 percent.

The state's zero-to-100 grading system takes into account more than a dozen measures, including test scores, advanced placement courses, high school graduation rates, college enrollees, absentee rates.

But the majority of the grade - more than three-quarters - is still how well students did on test scores.
