Town of Farmington Hosting Toy Drive At Avon Walmart This Week
The event is being co-hosted by the town's community/supportive services department and local police.
AVON/FARMINGTON, CT — Farmington is hosting a toy drive in neighboring Avon at a prominent retailer to help children in need enjoy their holidays a bit more.
The town's annual Holiday Toy Drive will take place at the Avon Walmart, 255 W. Main St., Avon, this Friday, Dec. 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Farmington Community and Supportive Services is teaming up with the Farmington Police Department to collect toys for children in the Farmington community.

"Please consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy—big or small, it all makes a child’s holiday brighter," wrote the town. "Thank you in advance for your generosity."
