Ex-Housekeeper Charged with Glastonbury Home Invasion
More than $100K in jewelry was stolen at gunpoint from a couple in 2012.

Glastonbury Police arrested a woman who they say was involved in a 2012 home invasion in which her former employers were robbed of more than $100,000 in jewelry at gunpoint.
Police said that Marilyn Nadeau, 54, who was serving time for crimes in New Jersey, was extradited to Connecticut and arrested by warrant for her involvement in the Thompson Street home invasion on Nov. 26.
“Nadeau was involved in the incident with her boyfriend, Joseph DeFreitas, who held a husband and wife at gun point, tied them up, and forced them to turn over an excess of $100,000 in jewelry. Nadeau was connected to the victims as she was an ex-housekeeper,” police said in a statement.
