It's Official ... Trader Joe's Coming To Glastonbury
A Hebron Avenue parcel in Glastonbury will become a Trader Joe's.

GLASTONBURY, CT — The theory that the "specialty grocery store" plans approved for a Hebron Avenue parcel that sits in between Sycamore and Lyndon streets is a Trader Joe's was accurate after all.
Trader Joe's has announced on its website that the store will come to the parcel in 2023.
In July, the application was approved to grant a special permit with a design review to construct a delivery area on the west side of the existing building for a grocery outlet and an expansion of the parking area utilizing 366 Hebron Ave. and 7 Linden St.

The parcel sits in a Town Center Zone, a Residence A Zone and a Town Center Village District Overlay Zone. It had been deemed suitable for restaurants for some time.
In correspondence related to the local regulatory review, the town’s new Architectural and Site Design Review Committee had expressed caution over the plan and town engineers expressed concern over the parking area and some exits.
