Glastonbury Police Conducting Tip-a-Cop Event For Special Olympics
A Tip-a-Cop event is set for at Giovanni's restaurant in Glastonbury next month.

GLASTONBURY, CT — On Thursday, April 10 between 5 and 9 p.m., Glastonbury police officers will donning aprons instead of their duty belts to help raise money for the Connecticut Special Olympics.
It's part of the Tip-a-Cop event at Giovanni’s restaurant, 113 Hebron Ave.
Officers will be assisting servers and cooks with making and running food orders. All gratuities received by the officers will go to the Special Olympics.

The Special Olympics provides year-round sports training for more than 10,000 athletes along with offering free health screenings at sporting events.
