Glastonbury Robbery Suspect is Sought
Police release photos of man who robbed Subway shop in town Thursday night.
Glastonbury Police are searching for the armed robber who held up the Subway Restaurant located at 2858 Main St. at approximately 9:45 p.m. Thursday.
Police said the suspect was described as a light skinned “mulatto” male with a mustache, possibly with a goatee or chin strap beard as well. The man had short black hair, brown eyes, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans which looked to be “cuffed” at the ankle and dark colored sneakers.
“The suspect ordered four cookies and when the cashier opened the cash drawer to complete the transaction, the suspect pulled out a black handgun, leaned over the counter, grabbed the cash in the register and walked out of the store,” police said.

The suspect is believed to have committed other recent robberies in the greater Hartford area, police said.
