It's the antique home that was the first house built on Foote Road, thus creating road's namesake. The home was built in 1780 by the Foote family and it was owned by the same family for nearly 60 years.

The land itself is "quite special," the listing says. The foundation for the original barn is there, even though the barn itself was lost in the Hurricane of 1938. Three other "barn-like structures" are located on the property, including a garage.
