The CT Department of Transportation (CT DOT) provided the following notification regarding Bridge No. 01702 & 01703:
Bridge No. 01702 & 01703 (carries Route 2 over Quarry Road) are scheduled for inspections on Friday, January 16th, 2026. The work is to be completed by GFT Infrastructure Inc. Lane closures on Quarry Road will be implemented. These traffic restrictions will be conducted from approximately 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Traffic disruption is expected to be minor and traffic control will be handled by TranSystems personnel in accordance with the Connecticut Department of Transportation's "Work Zone Safety Guidelines for Maintenance Operations".
