Jayne was born on February 27th, 1964 in Norwalk, CT, the daughter of Frederick and Mary Palumbo.

She pursued her passions fearlessly and found fulfillment working as a spiritual mentor. Her greatest motivation being her son Matthew, she worked tirelessly to be able to provide a life enriched by strong family values, meaningful experiences, and endless adventure. She found beauty in the most ordinary places and expressed a deep sense of gratitude for all of life’s little treasures.

With Jayne’s passing, we want to remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. She was an amazing woman. Although we will miss her infectious laugh and one-of-a-kind spirit, she will remain in our hearts forever. Jayne, our inspiration and guardian angel, may the words you’ve shared with us continue to heal and inspire always and forever.

Jayne is survived by her loving son, Matthew Dixon; her three sisters: Kim Brown (and her husband Michael) of Trumbull, Sandra Kantzas (and her husband John) of Monroe, Nancy Citino (and her husband Frank) of Wethersfield; her brother Michael Palumbo (and his wife Deborah) of Westport; several nieces and nephews; along with her extended family and dearest friends.

She was greeted in heaven by her parents, Frederick and Mary Palumbo.

Jayne’s favorite color in life was Red – the color of energy, of passion, and of love. Please help us celebrate her vibrant energy, her intense passion for life, and her loving heart by wearing something in her favorite color.
