GLASTONBURY, CT — A residential theft involving footwear in Glastonbury has led to the arrest of a New Britain man, police said.

Michael Hicks, 30, was charged via a warrant on Jan. 12, Glastonbury police said in an arrest report released this week. According to the report, Hicks was involved in the theft of several pairs of sneakers from a local residence in September.

He was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and violating the conditions of release. The third charge is related to a failure to appear charge out of New Britain, records show.

Also on Jan. 12, Hicks was charged with driving without a license, using a motor vehicle without permission, failure to renew registration, is using am improper marker plate.
