GLASTONBURY, CT — A crash in Glastonbury Monday afternoon prompted the closure of Hebron Avenue between Weir Street and Pembroke Terrace.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation set up a detour for commuters and a crew from Eversource Energy was at the scene to repair the pole, but it is expected to take several hours — and even into the overnight period — to get Hebron Avenue back open completely, authorities said.
As of 2:30 p.m. 145 residents were without power, according to the Eversource Outage Map. Two hours later, that number was down to 22.
