Worcester Polytechnic Institute Names New Students-Athletes of the Week
One male and female student received the honor, which lasts through Sunday.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has named two new student-athletes of the week.
Grace Davis, a junior from Sandwich, Mass., and member of the field hockey team was selected as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week. The honor comes after she tied the score against Lasell with a goal, and helped the team eventually win the game.
Sam Russell, a senior from Glastonbury on the men’s soccer team, was named the WPI Male Student-Athlete of the Week after he netted the game-winning goal in the school’s victory Friday night over Worcester State. He entered the weekend with just one career marker but wound up doubling it by the end.
