Today is Thursday Feb. 3, 2011 and there are 331 days left in the year.  A two-day winter snow storm has finally moved out of the region after leaving 7 to 10 inches of snow, sleet, and freezing rain.  Today temperatures will reach a high of 27 degrees with partly cloudy skies.  Things look clear until Saturday when we could get another winter blast. The<a href="https://patch.com/E-dnWB" rel="nofollow"> East Granby Middle School PTO</a> is holding a scholastic book fair in the Middle School's Multi Purpose Room from 7:40 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The PTO will be selling the latest titles for kids, Nutmeg Books, and books of interest to parents. For those at risk for heart disease or just concerned about staying healthy, the Farmington Valley VNA will host a free blood pressure screening today in the study room at the public library.  Stop by between 1:00 p.m and 2:30 p.m. The East Granby boys basketball team will play against the Stamford Academy at East Granby High School.  The game starts at 7 p.m. and is free and open to all.
