Granby Businesses Team up for Food Drive
Anew Massage and Wellness and Granby Village Health are offering incentives for local residents to donate much-needed supplies to the town food bank.

Two local businesses are partnering for a two-week drive to help fill Granby’s depleted food bank.
and are both offering incentives, including free massage time, and additional drop-off locations to increase donations starting this Sunday, Aug. 12.
Jessica Moore, a licensed massage therapist at Anew Massage, said the food bank is in serious need of a number of specific items as the end of summer approaches, but all donations are welcome.

Both of the businesses, Anew Massage and Wellness at 15R Hartford Ave., Suite 2G (on the second floor of the building, upstairs from Lite-N-Up) and Granby Village Health at 10 Hartford Ave., will accept donations at their respective locations. Donations at the food bank itself, located at 248 Salmon Brook Street, are also accepted.
Moore is planning on hosting a few chair massage events over the two weeks so that donors can get their massage when they drop off their items. If those making donations do so after business hours, Moore encourages donors to contact her via email at jmoorelmt@gmail.com to receive their reward if they make a donation when the massage therapy business isn't open.
Both businesses are excited to participate and help the food bank, the ultimate goal of the drive.
“The Granby food bank is very appreciative,” Moore said.
