The Granby Memorial High football team opens its season today, but not on the new turf field as hoped.Instead, the Bears will open the season against Enfield at Ahrens Park at 4:45 p.m. while the finishing touches on the stadium are completed.The dedication ceremony was also pushed back to Sept. 17 at 8:45 a.m.Granby Memorial will look to build on a successful 2012 campaign that saw the nascent team set a program record with four victories.Head coach Rich Gadoury is back for his second season at the helm.
