Granby School Board Votes on School Calendar Make-Up Days
Wondering how the make-up days will affect April vacation and graduation? Keep reading to find out!

April vacation is safe!
The Granby Board of Education voted Wednesday to make up two remaining snow days at the end of the year and on a staff professional development day instead of touching April break, school officials confirmed.
April vacation will continue as scheduled April 15 to 19.
The district had seven school cancellations in total this year, but the school board already reserves five extra days in the school calendar every year for snow days.
Students will make up the two other snow days on May 28, previously a professional development day, and June 21, which will be the last day of school and the date of graduation. That's a day later than the year was originally supposed to end.
The staff professional development day is rescheduled to June 24.
