Workers on Saturday laid the 'G' on the new synthetic turf field at Granby Memorial High School.According to a statement posted on the Granby Public Schools website dated July 17, the fields project is "heading into the home stretch."The turf fields have been delivered and the synthetic turf for the football field was being stitched in place this weekend.The target date for the project's completion is Sept. 1.
