Here are some things to look forward to this week.
Good morning, Granby and East Granby! Today is Monday, Sept. 16, 2013; there are 106 days left in the year.
I’m standing in for Kaitlin this morning, who dutifully cared for our baby on Sunday until the point of exhaustion.
Anyhoo, this weekend, I took my 10-year-old stepdaughter and her friend to the One Direction movie, “This is Us.” And I don’t know what’s worse.

Here’s five things going on this week:
1. The Granby Board of Selectmen meets Monday at 7:30 p.m.
2. The Granby Board of Education meets Wednesday at 7 p.m.
3. The East Granby Board of Finance is scheduled to meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
4. The East Granby Lions fall flea market is scheduled for Sept. 21.
