Powerball Ticket Worth $100,000 Sold At East Granby Retailer

EAST GRANBY, CT — A Powerball player from East Granby struck it big for $100,000 in a recent drawing, on a ticket purchased at a convenience store and smoke shop in the center of town.

The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, bought the lucky ticket at the Hopin Mart & Smoke Shop at 6 Rainbow Road. The winnings were claimed on Valentine's Day, according to the CT Lottery website.
