Valentine's Plans, Romantic Ideas, And Friendly Competition

Today is Friday Feb. 11, 2011 and there are 323 days left in the year.  Temperatures will remain in the high 20's as we finish out the week.  Expect cloud cover to increase as we move through the day.  There's a slight chance of snow on the horizon for Saturday and possibly again on Sunday.  Neither should amount to much.

If you need some ideas for places to take your special someone for Valentine's Day, we've compiled a list of nearby romantic restaurants.  And fellas, if you haven't already seen it, we found a great deal on roses right here in Granby. Check back each week for the latest deals in town.

A little competitive exercise might not be a bad way to end your week.  If your adventurous and enjoy team sports, stop by the Farmington Valley YMCA for a friendly volleyball match.  Adults ages 16 and up are welcome to drop in and join a game of co-ed volleyball from 7:30 until 10 p.m.
