Vote for Granby Memorial High Basketball as Best CIAC Network Moment

Brent Buser capped a 21-point comeback with a three-pointer to send the game into overtime.

There have been many thrilling moments in the history of Granby Memorial High sports. Indeed, just recently there were The Stand - which led to the first victory for the Bears' varsity football team - and the field hockey team'sthrilling 1-0 overtime victory over Laurelton Hall in the Class S title game in November 2012.

Add the 2013 Granby Memorial High boys basketball team's incredible come-from-behind, double-overtime victory over Weaver in the Class S title game to the status of local sports legend.

The game - most notably Brent Buser's three-pointer that tied the game in regulation at 68-68 - hasn't escaped the notice of the CIAC, which included Buser's heroic shot as one of the nominees for the top moment of 2012-13 for the CIAC Network.
