Weather, Socially Conscious Shopping, Cookies, and Patch!

If the past few days hadn't cleared things up, it's unquestioningly winter... High of 28 degrees.

Yes, the official first day of winter is Dec. 21, but if you're in Granby, it started a few days ago.  Today the temperature will hopefully hit a high of 28 degrees and will remain mostly sunny with a chance of snow tomorrow night.

Shopping... For a Cause!  Go shopping tonight between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Bosco's Garden Center, Riches Jewelers, or the Stamp and Scrap Nest in Holloways Plaza in Simsbury and benefit three Granby Schools.  Find out more about this event on the Granby PTO website at www.granbypto.org.

Bring six cookies and a small gift and enjoy the company of other local women at the Granby Newcomers and Neighbors Club, a local women's club at the First Congregational Church in Granby at 7 p.m.
