What's Open, What's Closed on Martin Luther King Day
Curbside trash and recycling will operate on a normal schedule.

Today marks the celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, a federal holiday. Here's a partial list of businesses and government offices that are open and closed.
What's Open:
Most local businesses with normal business hours. In addition, Connecticut law permits package stores to be open today.
Curbside trash and recycling service in Granby will operate on its normal schedule. For a complete list of 2013 holidays that will affect the collection schedule, please refer to Barrels at the Curb.

What's Closed:
- Town offices in the Granbys, including Granby and East Granby Town Halls, both senior and community centers and public libraries;
- Public schools in both towns;
- Federal offices, including the U.S. Post Offices in both towns;
- All banks.
