The Suffield-Granby-Windsor Locks Wildcats fell to the Guilford Indians 5-1 in the quarterfinals of the Division II Ice Hockey Tournament on Friday night in Hartford. The game at Trinity College in Hartford got away from the Wildcats, who trailed 2-1 early in the second period following a goal from junior Dylan Rupp. Suffield High School Athletic Director Mike Bosworth said Guilford, the overall No. 1 seed in the tournament, was the faster team on the ice, but he had praise for the Wildcats. "We played our hearts out," he said. <a href="https://patch.com/A-fFdh" rel="nofollow">The Wildcats won in double overtime</a> against Fairfield Warde-Ludlowe in the first round on Tuesday to advance to the quarterfinals. Guilford will play Trumbull in a semifinal match on Monday.
