19-Year-Old Charged In Sexual Assault Investigation: Greenwich Police

GREENWICH, CT — A 19-year-old Stamford resident was arrested last week in connection with a sexual assault investigation, according to the Greenwich Police Department.

On Nov. 6 detectives from the GPD Special Victims Section responded to Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks to take Anthony Eduardo Lima Y Lima into custody on an active arrest warrant, police wrote in a crime information summary.

Police say the warrant stems from a sexual assault investigation out of Greenwich that began in May of this year. Further details were not immediately available.

Lima Y Lima was charged with two counts of illegal sexual contact with a victim under the age of 16, second-degree sexual assault, and criminal attempt at second-degree sexual assault, his arrest report notes.

The CT Judicial Branch website shows Lima Y Lima was given a $50,000 bond, and he posted 7 percent cash to be released. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Jan. 29, 2026.
