$50,000 Lottery Winner Sold In Greenwich

GREENWICH, CT — A local resident is now $50,000 richer thanks to some luck and the Connecticut Lottery.

A Rye, N.Y. resident won the grand prize after playing the Money Bags scratch-off game. The winning ticket was purchased from the Shell station located at 401 W. Putnam Ave.

There are just four grand prize winners out of 3.3 million tickets of the Money Bags game, according to the CT Lottery website.

It costs just $5 to play the Money Bags game.
