Bendheim Western Civic Center to Host Family Night with Movie 'Surf's Up'
The film's showing will be held Monday, Aug. 15.

The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that Family Night will be outdoors at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center on Monday, Aug. 15. Family Night will start at 7 p.m. with Jay and Ray Children’s Concert. At approximately 7:45 p.m., we will put the movie, “Surf’s Up,” on a large 9-by-12 screen.
The movie is about Cody Maverick, a surfer who enters his first pro competition, leaves his family and his town of Shiverpool, Antarctica to travel to Pen Gu Island for the big surf-off. Cody comes face-to-face with an old surfer and now begins to understand that the greatest champion isn’t always the one who comes in first.
