Here's Where To Recycle Your Christmas Trees In Greenwich
This season's tree collection will run from Dec. 26 through Jan. 31. Wood chips will be available at all park collection sites.
GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation along wit the Parks & Trees Division have announced several sites around town where residents can recycle their Christmas trees.
Beginning Friday, Dec. 26, and going through Jan. 31, 2026, residents can drop off their trees at the following locations. Please note that all decorations (ornaments, tinsel, lights, and stands) must be removed from trees prior to drop off.
- Byram Park: Residents only - no commercial haulers. Parking lot by second gate, weekdays and weekends, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Bruce Park: Residents only - no commercial haulers. Parking lot by children's playground, opposite entrance to Bruce Museum, weekdays and weekends, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Greenwich Point: Residents only - no commercial haulers. Parking lot across from the Nature Center, weekdays and wekends, 6 a.m. until sunset.
- Holly Hill Recycling Center: Residents AND commercial haulers. Place trees in yard waste area, 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weekdays, and 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturdays.
Wood chips will be available to residents at each park collection site. No wood chips will be available at Holly Hill.
