GREENWICH, CT — The Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich has appointed Sarah Osnoss as chair of its Board of Directors for the 2025–2028 term, succeeding Eileen Tang, who completed five years in the role and guided the organization through the COVID-19 pandemic and a major facility renovation.

Tang is credited with leading the board during one of the most difficult periods in the Club’s history. Under her leadership, the organization remained open to serve the children of essential workers and first responders when many other services were unavailable. She also oversaw the launch of a capital campaign and a construction project to renovate the Clubhouse.

"We are deeply grateful to Eileen for her remarkable leadership and unwavering dedication to the youth of Greenwich," said BGCG CEO Cristina Vittoria in a prepared statement. "Her ability to lead through uncertainty while always putting our kids first has left a legacy. We are also incredibly thankful to the Greenwich community, especially the Town of Greenwich and the Greenwich Public Schools, for their partnership over the past two years while our Clubhouse was under renovation. Their support allowed us to continue delivering vital services to young people at five different locations. Now, I am thrilled to work closely with Sarah as we prepare to reunite all our members under one roof this September. We are more inspired than ever to serve."

Osnoss takes on the board leadership role as the Club prepares to reopen its renovated and expanded facility later this year. She previously served on the board and brings experience in community engagement and nonprofit governance.

"It’s an honor to step into this role and help guide the Club during such an important time," Osnoss said in a prepared statement. "After two years of operating programs in five separate locations during our Clubhouse renovation, we are thrilled to welcome all our members back under one roof this September. I look forward to working with Cristina, our dedicated staff, and our Board as we open our doors to a new chapter of opportunity for Greenwich youth."
