Scheduled from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., admission is free, with parking and full accessibility.

Larrabee’s talk will cover the area’s history of farms and factories to waterfront inns and large estates, as well as the people and events that helped shape the community.

The program will also highlight Revolutionary War soldiers buried in two Old Greenwich cemeteries as part of the broader America 250 commemoration.

Other topics include Laddins Rock Farm, its pond and a film project partially shot there that was backed by publisher William Randolph Hearst, along with the neighborhood’s past as a publishing center and home to a range of notable residents.

The talk will be accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation featuring both historic and current photographs.

The program will not cover Greenwich Point, which was the subject of a separate historical tour developed in 2015 by Sue Baker and Chris Franco for the Greenwich Historical Society’s 375th anniversary celebration.

Organizers said Larrabee originally created the Old Greenwich tour for that same anniversary and has since expanded it with new research and material.
