Digital Learning for Greenwich Parents
Greenwich Public Schools is offering a series of workshops to help parents understand how digital learning works.

The Greenwich Public Schools is holding a series of workshops for parents and guardians to learn about the district’s Digital Learning Experience.
Parents may participate in one or more of the DLE Parent Workshops that begin Tuesday evening and continue through February. There also is a series of workshops planned on the use of iPads.
- Workshop sessions will cover topics including:
- Digital Safety and Monitoring Use at Home
- Schoology
- File Management and Collaboration with Google Apps
- Research and eBooks and Textbooks
- Personalized Technology Tools for All Students
- a ‘Day in the Life’ of the DLE

Jan. 19: for elementary school; 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Old Greenwich School.
Jan. 26: for middle school; 7 to 9 p.m. at Central Middle School.

Feb. 23: for elementary school; 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Hamilton Avenue School.
Apple iPad DLE Elementary Parent Workshops:
Jan. 21: Introduction to the iPad; 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Feb. 18: Using Safari w/Google Tools & Organizing Resources; 7 to 8:30 p.m.
March 17: Using Apps to Create (iMovie, Photos, GarageBand); 7 to 8:30 p.m.
April 13: iPad Intermediate/Advanced; 7 to 8:30 p.m.
May 19: iPad Intermediate/Advanced; 7 to 8:30 p.m.
