Free Concert for Jazz Aficionados in Greenwich
The Hudson Valley Jazz Ensemble is to give a free concert this weekend.

The Hudson Valley Jazz Ensemble is primarily targeted for music students in both Westchester and Fairfield counties who participate in jazz ensembles both in public and private schools as a part of their curriculum.
The core belief of the members of the HVJS is that young jazz musicians need to hear professional musicians play melodies and improvise in order to further their growth as budding performers. So the music of Duke Ellington, Chick Corea, Bob Mintzer and other top rated jazz composers will be performed at a free concert on Sunday for students and whoever enjoys jazz.
A reception will follow where the audience will be able to meet with the members of the ensemble.
