Greenwich 2025 Republican BET Primary: What To Know

A Republican primary for Board of Estimate and Taxation candidates is Tuesday, Sept. 9. Here's what to know.

GREENWICH, CT — A Republican primary for the Greenwich Board of Estimate and Taxation will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 9.

The Candidates

Six Republicans successfully petitioned to force a primary against six candidates who were endorsed by the Greenwich Republican Town Committee this summer.

Republican residents will vote for up to six candidates on Tuesday who will then be on the ballot during the Nov. 4 municipal election.

Polls, Hours, Locations

Only registered Republicans can vote in Tuesday's primary.

Those who are not registered to vote can still do so in person at the Registrar of Voters Office at Town Hall until noon on Monday, Sept. 8.

Special hours from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sept. 6 are available to residents who want to drop off absentee ballots at the Town Clerk's Office.

Early voting will continue until 6 p.m. on Sunday at Greenwich Town Hall.

On Primary Day, polls will open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

  • District 6, 6A - Old Greenwich School, 285 Sound Beach Ave.
  • District 7, 7A - Greenwich High School, 10 Hillside Rd Greenwich, CT 06830
  • District 8 - Central Middle School, 9 Indian Rock Lane
  • District 9 - Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center, 449 Pemberwick Road
  • District 10 - Glenville School, 33 Riversville Road
  • District 11, 11A - North Street School, 381 North St.
  • District 12 - North Mianus School, 309 Palmer Hill Road
