Greenwich Hospitality Group Seeks to Reopen Shuttered Hotel
The group reportedly is in negotiations to expand its portfolio of hotels in CT.
The Greenwich Hospitality Group, with a portfolio that includes the Delamar hotels, reportedly is negotiating to reopen and operate a hotel and office complex in Hartford.
A Capital Region Development Authority official told The Hartford Courant that a partnership is looking to reopen the shuttered 124-room Goodwin Hotel.
Michael W. Freimuth, CRDA’s executive director, told the newspaper that he has been dealing with representatives associated with Greenwich-based Greenwich Hospitality, and a partnership that includes Wilton-based Westport Capital Partners, that bought Goodwin Square last year for $17.6 million. The square also includes a 30-story office tower.
