Greenwich Man Punched Woman Who Was Holding Baby, Police Say

GREENWICH, CT — A Greenwich man is accused of punching a woman in the face while she was holding a baby, according to police.
The man, 38, was arrested on July 9 and charged with risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct, his arrest report states.

Police said a verbal argument had turned physical and the arrestee punched the victim with a closed fist, causing minor injuries. The woman was holding a baby at the time, police noted.
The man, who lives on the western side of Greenwich, was able to post bond and was slated to appear in court last week.
