The Greenwich Stars are the most popular youth basketball organization in Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County. The Greenwich Stars are National Champions as their 2015 Boys 12U Team won the Zero Gravity National Championship in Boston. In 2016, the Greenwich Stars Spring teams will have multiple teams in each age group playing in some of the top tournaments in America.
“The growth of the Greenwich Stars has been phenomenal. Four years ago, we started the Greenwich Stars with 9 kids and 1 team. In 2015, over 1440 boys and girls from 36 towns in New York and Connecticut played basketball on our teams, and in our leagues, clinics and programs,” John Raybin, President and General Manager of the Greenwich Stars, said in a statement.

“We have teams and programs for every type of player. The Greenwich Stars are more than just a basketball organization. Our new mentoring programs and special needs classes are for young people who need extra assistance and support,” Raybin said.
According to Raybin, 38 percent of their players receive scholarships and coaches volunteer their time in schools and communities. “Our coaches are professional coaches. We have no parent coaches and there’s no politics,” Raybin added.
The Greenwich Stars have year-round basketball programming including Spring AAU teams, and Fall, Winter and Summer travel teams and leagues, plus clinics and training. Scholarships are available. Further information is available at: www.GreenwichStars.com.
