The Junior League of Greenwich Invites Women to Join!

The Junior League is hosting an Open House on Jan. 24th for women interested in joining the women's organization.

The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) is thrilled to announce its upcoming Open House and one-day New Member Class. The Open House on Saturday, January 24th is a great opportunity for women who want to learn more about the JLG mission and membership experience before enrolling in the class. The Super Saturday class is back by popular demand after an immensely successful inaugural class last fall. It’s a fun-filled, one-day training class, and at the end you’ll be one of our newest members on one of our rewarding committees working on impactful projects and programs. The class is scheduled for January 31st from 9am-3pm.

Membership in the JLG offers opportunities to connect with a vibrant group of women dedicated to friendship, diversity, inclusion, leadership development, and volunteerism.

Both exciting events will be held at our beautiful JLG headquarters.

“Last fall we welcomed 30 new members who are relishing in our invaluable leadership development, professional growth, and social opportunities,” said Sammie Jacobs, President of the Junior League of Greenwich. “They’re now fostering a vibrant community that encourages both personal and collective success.”

With a membership of more than 500 dedicated women, the JLG has been instrumental in creating lasting change in Greenwich. Some of its past projects include building the Boundless Playground at Bruce Park, helping to establish The Greenwich Pool in Byram Park, and developing vital programs such as Kids in Crisis and the Den for Grieving Kids.
