In Memoriam: Ann B. Shepard

The lifelong Greenwich resident passed away March 18 at the age of 95.

Ann B. Shepard, a lifelong resident of Greenwich, passed away Friday, March 18. She was 95.

Ann worked as a Postal Clerk at the Post Office on Greenwich Avenue. Ann was fiercely independent and an active member of the Greenwich Senior Center and a devoted parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena.

She was also an avid gardener and loved to share the vegetables she grew with everyone. Ann traveled with her husband and later with the Glenville Seniors. She was extremely generous with her time and always offered the right advice.

Ann is survived by dear sister Teresa Brudniak; her loving niece, Margaret Cullen (Stephen Jr), and her cherished great-niece and nephew, Elizabeth and Joseph.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph; her brothers Tony, Max, Edward and James; and sister Mary.

To honor Ann’s life, family and friends will gather Monday March, 21 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich. A mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, at St. Catherine of Siena in Riverside. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
