The long-time Greenwich resident passed away Jan. 11 at the age of 80.

Ellen Slenker passed away on January 11, 2016.
She was born to Anna and Christopher Mullins in New Rochelle, NY on January 25, 1935.

Ellen lived in Greenwich for 40 years. She was a member of Westchester Country Club and Bent Pine in Vero Beach, FL. Over the years she enjoyed golf, paddle tennis, keeping a beautiful home, entertaining friends and family.
She was a long time avid bridge player. Ellen was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, proud great-grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard.

She is survived by her son Richard Slenker Jr. and daughter-in-law Maria Slenker, daughters Holly Grinnell and Kim King, grandchildren Scarlett Macllwaine (Andy), Jessica Hanley (Ian), Elizabeth Itz (Peter), Martha Slenker, Richard Slenker III, Harrison Grinnell, Peter Christian Grinnell and Annabelle King, great-grandchildren, Wyatt Macllwaine and Porter Macllwaine.
A mass will be held at St. Timothy’s, 1034 North St., Greenwich on Tuesday, January 19, at 10 a.m.
